Testimonial

Mercedes helped my husband and I with our business website. She also helped us with all our merch t-shirts, hats, business cards, and car magnets. She is knowledgeable and super supportive of the process and answers all the questions we had throughout the process. Thank you, Mercedes, for everything. We really appreciate you and all your hard work.

Iterations

Using the Storybrand Framework, I came up with a layout that addresses the following:

  • The aspirational benefit of acquiring the Client’s services (Transformed Homes with Expert Plumbing Services at Fair Prices).
  • How well-rounded Client’s services are (e.g. they also do repiping, remodeling, and more for both residential and commercial spaces).
  • They have years of experience and top-notch testimonials backing up their credibility
  • Came up with a 3-step solution in easily acquiring their services.
  • Also implemented 8 UX/UI principles that help streamline the content.

!!! DO NOT DELETE !!!

Visual Hierarchy

The most critical information, like services and contact details, is highlighted using size and contrast to draw immediate attention.

Fitt's Law

Key call-to-action buttons, like “Get a Quote,” are prominently placed and easily clickable, facilitating quick conversions.

Hick's Law

The page is streamlined to minimize choices, ensuring users can quickly make decisions without feeling overwhelmed.

Gestalt Principles

Related elements, such as services and testimonials, are grouped together, creating an organized and easy-to-navigate layout.

The Von Restorff Effect

Special offers and key messages are designed to stand out with distinct colors, drawing attention to critical areas.

Social Proof

Customer testimonials are strategically placed to build trust and credibility, reassuring potential clients of the quality of service.

Cognitive Load Theory

The content is concise and to the point, preventing information overload and keeping the user’s focus on essential details.

Aesthetic-Usability Effect

The design is visually appealing, which not only attracts users but also enhances their perception of the site’s usability and the professionalism of the business.
